The first photo of the new 2S22 Bogdan self-propelled artillery mount appeared on social networks. A Ukrainian wheeled howitzer was driving in an unknown direction. And most importantly, she did it on her own.

What is known

The peculiarity of the combat vehicle shown in the picture is that we are dealing with a serial artillery mount on a new chassis. 2S22 “Bogdan” was tested in combat conditions at the front, after which it was improved.

Ukraine has invested in mass production of wheeled howitzers. This was announced at the beginning of this year by Defense Minister Alexei Reznikov. He also noted that work on the domestic combat vehicle began in the spring of last year.
