Publisher Paradox Interactive has unexpectedly announced a remaster of the famous city-building simulator Cities: Skylines, the new version of which will be available on PS5 and Xbox Series on February 15th.
Owners of the game on legacy consoles will be able to upgrade Cities: Skylines to the current version for free.
In addition to the original game, the developers will update all DLC, but at the time of the release of Cities: Skylines – Remastered, improvements will only be available in expansions that came out before Airports.
In the remaster, players are expected to have improved graphics, improved controls, a built-in map editor, minor interface changes, and much more. Now in Cities: Skylines, 16 more cells will be available for construction on the map than in the previous version.
