However, Ubisoft and haptics developer OWO are taking gameplay to the next level. offering fans of Assassin’s Creed an unusual solution.
With the tactile feedback T-shirt, users can experience different kinds of sensations from the OWO library. This library, for example, will help you feel: wind, stress, free fall, but also stab wounds, severe abdominal wounds and gunshots.
The characteristics of the Assassin’s Creed Mirage Edition T-shirt will be similar to the well-known OWO technology – Founder Limited Edition. 10 zones of haptic feedback, high conductivity electrodes, Bluetooth 5.2 support and an 8-hour battery. The Mirage Edition will also have its own special features: a special design in the style of AC, 20 gel pillows, a storage bag and an Assassin’s Creed game code.
With the My OWO app, players will be able to customize their experience by adjusting the intensity and nature of the stimuli. According to the developers, this will provide a unique experience for each user.
It would seem that imitating knife blows, gunshots and insect bites with the help of technology is not an easy undertaking, but OWO proved that it is possible. The company was awarded one of the CES (Consumer Electronics Show) 2022 awards in the category of virtual and augmented reality, and in 2023 it was again awarded at CES, this time for the development of a sleeve with haptic feedback.
Assassin’s Creed Mirage is scheduled to release on October 12 this year for PC, PlayStation, Xbox and Amazon Luna users. The game will also be available to all Ubisoft+ subscribers upon release.
