The ROG lineup has been replenished with a new monitor. ASUS has announced a new gaming product XG27AQMR, which will replace last year’s XG27AQM monitor.

What is known

The gaming monitor is equipped with a QHD display with a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels and a response of 1 ms. It is based on a Fast IPS matrix that supports AMD FreeSync Premium Pro and NVIDIA G-Sync image synchronization technologies along with Extreme Low Motion Blur for motion blur. Low Blue Light technology is provided to reduce the effects of blue light.

The ASUS ROG Strix XG27AQMR has a maximum brightness of 650 nits and is VESA DisplayHDR600 certified. Typical brightness is 350 nits and DCI-P3 color coverage is 97%.

The bottom of the monitor has two HDMI 2.0 ports, one DisplayPort 1.4, two USB-A 3.2 Gen 1, and a Mini-Jack. The stand allows you to adjust the height, tilt and angle of rotation.

Price and when to expect

The cost of ASUS ROG Strix XG27AQMR is not specified, the date of the start of sales, too. Last year’s ASUS ROG Strix XG27AQM monitor is now $650 in the US.
