Blizzard Suspends 120,000 World of Warcraft Classic Accounts Due to Unfair Use of Death Knight Class Characters

Blizzard announced about the complete blocking of 120,000 World of Warcraft accounts.

The reason for such a large-scale punishment was the abuse by some players of characters of the Death Knight class.

What is known

When the Wrath of the Lich King add-on was released in 2008, gamers could not create Death Knights until at least one character on their account reached level 55.

In Wrath of the Lich King Classic, the developers did not introduce this moratorium, so the players massively created Death Knights that automatically get level 55. This allowed many users to obtain high-level resources and items and sell them for real money.

The most dishonest users even resorted to the forbidden option of using bots to automate and speed up this process. Now such players are banned, and the developers have returned the restrictions on the Death Knight.
