Well-known insider Tom Henderson (Tom Henderson) once again shared exclusive information. This time around, BioWare’s long-awaited RPG Dragon Age: Dreadwolf is in the spotlight.
What is known
Henderson’s sources claim that Dragon Age: Dreadwolf has been in development since 2015, and during that time the concept of the game has changed radically several times.
Initially, the game was planned as a multiplayer, but then they decided to make a classic single-player RPG. And yet, a significant amount of network elements remained in the game, so Dreadwolf is reminiscent of games like Destiny.
An insider has information that in its current form in the fourth Dragon Age there is an extensive hub location from which the player goes on various tasks. Again, and this is similar to Destiny, which indicates a conflict between the general idea and its implementation.
As for the combat system of Dragon Age: Dreadwolf, not everything is good here either. Henderson reports that it is reminiscent of the battles from Final Fantasy XV, and this is clearly not the best news for Dragon Age fans. The player can only control the main character, and the companions act at their own discretion.
According to sources, the game will clearly not be released in 2023, since most of the game text is not written, the characters do not have lines, and in general the game is far from complete.
Recall that the last game in the Dragon Age series, subtitled Inquisition, was released in 2014 and received mixed reviews from gamers and critics.
