The hydraulic equipment plant “Donward – Hydraulic Systems”, which supplies its products to large industrial and military customers, became the victim of a massive cyberattack.

The attackers will claim that they destroyed 50 TB of the company’s file storage, which contained data from 2007, and deleted all backups. PCs and servers were also encrypted. In addition, they were disabled NAS1C, SOUP, PML and PMD.

The hackers said they have access to blueprints and designs that have been digitized despite the low security of the servers. They also said that they will publish part of the data at regular intervals.

According to cybercriminals, they want to force the administration of the plant and its customers to “stretch their brains” and increase the level of protection of their systems.

Representatives of the Donward plant have not yet commented on the situation. According to our portal, donvard.ru is currently unavailable.
