Honor unveiled smartphones at MWC 2023 last week Honor Magic 5 and Honor Magic 5 Proand now showed new items in China along with the third model of Honor Magic 5 Ultimate.

Honor Magic 5 Ultimate has become the company’s new top smartphone. The gadget received an unusual leather back panel and two colors: black and orange. The novelty is equipped with a 6.81-inch display with a resolution of 2848 × 1312 pixels, an LTPO OLED matrix, a refresh rate of 120 Hz, support for HDR10 + and IMAX Enhanced certification.

The smartphone is powered by the top Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor paired with 16 GB of RAM and 512 GB of ROM. The novelty also boasts a 5450 mAh battery. According to the manufacturer, the battery is made from a silicon-carbon anode. It has a 12.8% higher energy density compared to lithium batteries. The battery supports fast wired charging at 66W and wireless at 50W.

As for the cameras, they are the same as the Pro-model: the main one is 50 MP + 50 MP + 50 MP and the front one is 12 MP + 3D-sensor with Face Unlock support. The novelty has NFC and IP68 water protection. Smartphone comes with Magic UI 7.1 interface. It is based on Android 13 OS.

Price and when to expect

Honor Magic 5 Ultimate will go on sale in China on March 10th. The novelty will cost $966. The smartphone is unlikely to appear on the global market.
