1]How to run Magnifier in Windows 11

  • Press the Windows logo key + Ctrl + M and press the Tab key until you hear: “Magnifier, toggle switch.

2]Change magnifier zoom level

If you are using a keyboard and a screen reader-

  • Open Magnifier settings by using the Windows key + Ctrl + M and press the Tab key until you hear Narrator Zoom out or Zoom in.
  • Now press the spacebar to adjust the zoom level value. Narrator announces the change in values.

Option Zoom Increment allows you to decide how much the screen is zoomed in or out when you press the button + or keys. The zoom level is set to 100% by default, but you can change it to suit your preferences. You can change it from the drop down menu.

If you are using a keyboard and narrator:

  • Open Magnifier settings by using the Windows key + Ctrl + M and press the Tab key until you hear “Zoom in” followed by the current value.
  • Open the menu by pressing Alt+Down and use the up and down arrow keys to increase or decrease the zoom value. Press Enter to select a value.

3]Change magnifier view

You can change magnifier views using the following keyboard shortcuts, or you can simply use the dropdown menu.

  • Ctrl + Alt + F – full screen mode
  • Ctrl + Alt + D – docked view
  • Ctrl + Alt + L – lens view
