Insider scares Bethesda fans: Starfield and Redfall are in unsatisfactory technical condition for the release and require significant improvement

Starfield and Redfall are in serious trouble, according to a Horns insider whose “speciality” is Bethesda plums.

What is known

To the Reseter forums informant reportedthat the vampire action game Redfall is in rather poor technical condition, but still better than Starfield. Arkane isn’t as big as Todd Howard’s project, so it could be finished before release day, May 2nd, but Starfield is a lot more serious.

Horns claims that Bethesda and Microsoft are in serious disagreement over the release date of the space RPG. Bethesda is pushing for more time for developers to polish the game, while Microsoft is pushing for a release before the end of the fiscal year (June 30, 2023 in the US).

The corporation persists on this date, because due to the economic crisis, its income has declined sharply, and Microsoft strongly recommends that its divisions improve labor productivity so as not to upset investors.

What this will lead to is anyone’s guess. It is unlikely that Microsoft will want to repeat the “success” of Cyberpunk 2077 by releasing a raw version of Starfield, but so far everything points to that.

The same problems, by the way, are noted in Diablo IV. The successful release of the action-RPG on June 6 looks doubtful, since the project needs serious work.
