iPhone 15 Plus on CAD renders: USB-C port instead of Lightning and Dynamic Island to the masses

9to5Mac, along with 3D graphics expert Ian Zelbo, have published CAD renderings of the iPhone 15 Plus smartphone, which should debut only in the fall. They are based on files that Apple provides to partners in its supply chain in preparation for the launch of the new iPhone. Therefore, they are accurate both in size and design.

What was shown

Judging by the images, the main differences between the iPhone 15 Plus and previous models will be the USB-C port, which will finally replace Lightning, and the cutout for the Dynamic Island front camera. This year, all smartphones in the line will have it, and not just the Pro versions.

Compared to the iPhone 14 Plus, the successor has thinner bezels, a larger rear camera bump, and more rounded edges.

The iPhone 15 Plus measures 160.87mm high, 77.76mm wide, and 7.81mm thick.
