The capital of the Russian Federation suddenly came under attack by unmanned aerial vehicles. Local authorities did not hide the information, but it is possible that they underestimated the scale of the attack.

What is known

According to Russian media, Moscow was attacked by more than two dozen drones, most of which were shot down. At least three drones hit houses. It is also noted that there were no casualties. Residents of high-rise buildings were evacuated.

The authorities released other information. In particular, only eight unmanned aerial vehicles are reported to have been attacked. At the same time, five of them were destroyed by the Pantsir-S1 anti-aircraft missile and gun system, and three more lost control due to electronic warfare.

It is worth noting that the drones attacked the elite areas of the capital. In particular, Rublevo-Uspenskoye Highway, where the residences of Vladimir Putin are located. Real estate in this area is valued at millions and sometimes tens of millions of dollars.
