Together with GeForce RTX 4060 NVIDIA introduced the Ti version. It is available in two versions and will hit the market next summer.
What is known
The video card is equipped with 8 GB or 16 GB of GDDR6 memory with an effective frequency of 18 GHz, a 128-bit bus and a bandwidth of 288 GB / s. Regardless of the amount of memory, the GeForce RTX 4060 Ti is equipped with an AD-106-350/351 chip based on the Ada Lovelace architecture. The processor is manufactured using TSMC’s improved 5nm technology. The GPU has 4352 CUDA cores and has a frequency of 2.54 GHz. Energy consumption is also the same – 160 watts each.

In terms of performance, NVIDIA is promising a 70% boost over the GeForce RTX 3060 Ti. Compared to the GeForce RTX 2060 SUPER, the performance of the new generation model is increased by 160%. The increase is provided by the support of DLSS 3 and Shader Execution Reordering technologies.
NVIDIA stated that in most games, the GeForce RTX 4060 Ti will show approximately identical performance, regardless of the amount of video memory. But still, the version with 16 GB of VRAM will feel better in some projects.
RTX 4060 Ti single precision performance will be 22 TFLOPS. For a better understanding, the American company cites the performance of the previous generation RTX 3060 and RTX 3060 Ti models – 13 TFLOPS and 16 TFLOPS, respectively.
Price and when to expect
Both versions of the video card will go on sale in July this year. The GeForce RTX 4060 Ti 8GB will cost $399, while the 16GB VRAM version will cost $499. Interestingly, only the RTX 4060 8GB will appear in the reference version (Founders Edition).
