Xiaomi this month announces a new smartphone of the Redmi Note 12 family. It is called Redmi Note 12 Turbo. The model passed the performance test in Geekbench 5 and Geekbench 6.

What is known

Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 – one of the most interesting mid-range processors in recent years. It has a peak frequency of almost 3 GHz and a new Adreno GPU graphics core, the performance of which has increased by one and a half times compared to the previous generation.

Redmi Note 12 Turbo with Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 in Geekbench 5 was able to outperform Xiaomi 12 Pro, which is powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 mobile processor. But only in Multi-Core mode. The result was 3972 points. In Single-Core, the smartphone scored 1213 points.

Also, Redmi Note 12 Turbo was tested in Geekbench 6. In Single-Core and Multi-Core, the future novelty was able to score 1484 and 4257 points, respectively. Xiaomi 12 Pro on Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 has not been tested in Geekbench 6.
