Rumors: Activision is planning several seasons for Call of Duty in 2023 and is working on an unknown project

According to Insider Gaming, there was a data breach at Activision that revealed documents about plans for Call of Duty in 2023. The documents included a calendar that showed the dates of the seasons, as well as information about an unknown project Jupiter.

What else is known

First, the number of seasons and the time when they should take place were revealed. A total of 4 seasons are planned.

  • Season 3: March 15 – May 15
  • Season 4: May 15 – June 16
  • Season 5: information unknown
  • Season 6: September 15 – November 8

However, content has been revealed that will appear throughout the year in Call of Duty.

  • Seven main maps, some of which are likely to be remasters of old maps.
  • Halloween Ghosts of Saba event.
  • One small card coming in Season 4 that should be similar to Shipment.
  • At least 240 more sets (70 per season).
  • One “licensed” operator each season. This may indicate a collaboration with other franchises.
  • More variety of tasks that will begin 3 seasons.

The document also contained information about the Jupiter project. There are three date cycles for it. Some believe that these may be development periods.

  • Jupiter GL4 (April 7-28)
  • “Jupiter Alpha” (May 26 – June 2)
  • “Jupiter GL5” (June 9-30)

But it is worth noting that the documents were leaked as early as December 4 and Activison could change the dates and plans. Therefore, this information should be taken simply as rumors.
