Russian organizations demand more than 900 million rubles from Oracle from the Moscow Arbitration Court

The Russian legal entity Oracle has already filed an appeal against the introduction of supervision. How will this affect the bankruptcy process?

Eight Russian organizations require the Moscow Arbitration Court to include in the register of creditors the Russian legal entity Oracle Corporation, in respect of which the initial bankruptcy procedure has been introduced – supervision.

The claims of the former official distributor of Oracle in Russia, the FORS Distribution company, amount to almost 440 million rubles, including more than 403 million rubles of principal debt, as well as interest on borrowed money and state duty expenses.

Sberbank also appears among the creditors – its claims amount to 77.2 million rubles, Marvel Distribution (Marvel KT LLC, 189.1 million rubles) and FORS – Development Center (160.5 million rubles). Other creditors are Newtek.TV (the main activity is the repair of communication equipment) – the requirements are 8 million rubles, the IT companies Jet Infosystems and the Borlas Group – 2 million rubles and 11 million rubles, respectively, as well as Nek Neva Communication Systems” – 12.8 million rubles.

Less than half of the organizations’ applications have so far been accepted for consideration. Meanwhile, “Marvel Distribution” has already sent another application for the establishment of the amount of creditors’ claims.

With regard to the Russian legal entity Oracle on February 6, the initial bankruptcy procedure was introduced – supervision. The bankruptcy case was initiated by the Russian IT company KROK, which in June 2022 filed a lawsuit against a division of the corporation for 49.7 million rubles and later secured the majority of these funds. The Russian legal entity Oracle has already filed an appeal against the introduction of supervision.
