Samsung is about to add a new useful feature to the Galaxy Watch 5 and Galaxy Watch 5 Pro smartwatches.
What is known
We are talking about the ability to track menstrual cycles. The innovation will work thanks to Samsung’s temperature sensor, as well as technology from Natural Cycles. All information will be displayed in the Samsung Health app. By the way, the Cycle Tracking function has already been approved by the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety (MFDS) of the Republic of Korea and it has been registered by the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA).
When to expect
The innovation will appear in the owners of smart watches in the second quarter of 2023. The feature will be available in 32 countries including Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Korea, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Netherlands , Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, UK and USA.
