Samsung made 51% of the components for the Google Pixel 7 Pro

More than half of the components in Google’s flagship smartphone Pixel 7 Pro were made by South Korean manufacturer Samsung. This is stated by the analytical agency Counterpoint Research.

What is known

The most expensive component in a smartphone is the 6.7” LTPO AMOLED display. Its share in the total cost of materials is 20%. The supplier is Samsung. The South Korean company developed the 50 MP ISOCELL GN1 camera, sensors for the periscope and front cameras, as well as the entire communication system.

Pixel 7 Pro is equipped with 12 GB of LPDDR5 RAM manufactured by Micron or Samsung. Built-in memory also came from South Korea, but from SK Hynix. The battery is ATL, the wired charger is NXP, and the wireless charger is IDT.


The cost of components in the 12/128 GB modification is $413. You can buy the Pixel 7 Pro for $749, although its MSRP is $899.
