With this simple trick you will get the Google Assistant to better understand what you say.
The Wizard Google is a really useful tool to access all kinds of information such as the state of the weather, the results of your soccer team or the telephone number of a company without the need to use your keyboard android mobile.
The main handicap of the virtual assistant from the Mountain View company that I usually find is that many times does not understand the name of a city or a town near your area and you have to use the search engine to find out, for example, what will the weather be there next weekend.
But that has an easy solution, since thanks to the trick that we are going to talk about now you will stop having problems for the Google Assistant to understand what you say.
This Google Assistant trick will make your life easier
To get the Google Assistant to understand the name of your town or village when you tell it, what you have to do is create a specific routine within it.
To do this you simply have to open Google Assistant, Click on the icon with the photo of your Google account that appears in the upper right part of the Wizard and click on the option routines.
Once inside the section routines tap on the button New which is located in the upper right corner and select the option Staff if you are going to use it alone or Family unit if other people are going to use it too.
The next thing you should do is click on the button add first elementwhich is inside the section Triggersclick on the option When the Google Assistant tells you and write in the text field the command that you are going to say to the Google Assistant.
In this particular case as Google Assistant doesn’t recognize my village nameSeixón, which is located in the municipality of Friol, which, in turn, belongs to the province of Lugo, but it does recognize the word town, in the text box I write the following “What’s the weather in town”.
Next, you must click on the button add first element and back in the main Routine creation menu, touch the option add actionwhich is inside the section Actions.
At this point you must indicate what action the Google Assistant Routine will perform when you give it the above indication and since it is not created you must select the option Try adding your own commands and write the command you want me to run the wizard in the text box. In my specific case I write: “What’s the weather like in Seixón”.
Finally, tap on the button Done to save the action and click on the button Save for the Routine to be created.
Once this is done, if you invoke the Google Assistant and ask it “What’s the weather like in town” it will give you the weather information of the village that you indicated in the routinein my case Seixón, as you can see in the last of the captures that we leave you on these lines.
