According to GamesRadar, Respawn Entertainment, which is behind the highly anticipated Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order sequel, revealed in an interview with Play Magazine that the game will feature planetary fast travel. The game will also add mountable creatures for those who want to do it faster, but still want to travel around the real world.

If Jedi: Survivor will be similar to its predecessor, then you will visit several planets with their own history and quests, but each of which will touch the central thread of the plot. The planets will have different sections and paths, some of which will become available to you only after you learn certain skills. The transit zone on certain planets can be quite large, and fans have often complained about having to manually navigate back to the ship when they are deep inside the area.

According to what game director Stig Asmussen has revealed, players will be allowed to travel between points on the same planet, but not between planets, which actually makes sense.

Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is set to release on April 28, 2023 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
