Samsung has begun releasing the July Android update on the Samsung Galaxy A54 5G and Galaxy S21 FE 5G from the US operator Verizon with firmware versions A546VSQS4AWF2 and G990USQS8EWF1, respectively. It is expected that this new security update will expand to the rest of the models in the North American country and the rest of the countries of the world over the next few weeks.

In both cases, this new software includes the July 2023 security patch that fixes over 90 security and privacy flawsof which three have been marked as critical, 56 are high priority and the rest are of moderate importance, fixes a good number of general bugs discovered in One user interface and improves the performance and stability of both devices.

Samsung Galaxy S21 FE 5G hit the market at the end of 2022 with Android 12 and One UI 4.1 while the Galaxy A54 5G launched in March 2023 with One UI 5.1 and Android 13. Both terminals are expected to upgrade to One UI 6.0 with Android 14 before the end of the year.
