Ukrainian pilots, in addition to the F-16, will also be able to complete a training program on the use of JAS 39 Gripen fighters.
What is known
This was announced by Swedish Defense Minister Pål Jonson. This is an introductory program. Several experienced Ukrainian pilots will be able to train on simulators and then test the aircraft.

By the way, the training program does not mean that Sweden plans to transfer JAS 39 Gripen fighters to the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Sweden thus wants to demonstrate the features of its aircraft so that in the future Ukraine can purchase them if it wants.
For those who are not in the know
The JAS 39 Gripen is a fourth-generation Swedish multirole fighter. It is being developed by Saab. Work on the aircraft began in 1979. In 1988, a JAS 39 Gripen took to the skies for the first time.
