Ukrainian game designers categorically refused to comply with the demands of the hackers and urged fans of the franchise to ignore any leaked materials.
The developers confirmed that one of the working computers was hacked and some of the information about the game got to Russian cybercriminals.
The GSC Game World team emphasized that such threats cannot frighten them, especially against the backdrop of what Ukrainians have to go through since the full-scale invasion of the occupying Russian troops into their country.
The developers urge to subscribe to the official pages of the GSC Game World studio in social networks and trust only verified information.
