1] Restart the devices

  1. Open Settings.
  2. Go to Update & Security > Troubleshoot > Additional troubleshooters.
  3. Click on Bluetooth > Run the troubleshooter.

5] Unpair and Pair the controller

As mentioned earlier, the issue can be nothing but a glitch. This glitch can stop you from connecting the controller to your computer. To resolve it, we are going to unpair and then pair the controller.

To do that, open the Bluetooth Settings. You hit Win + I and go to Bluetooth & devices > Devices to open the Settings we are going to configure. Then remove ITE Device and/or Wireless Controller. It can be removed by clicking on the three vertical dots and then Remove.

Now, press and hold the PS5 Home button from your controller. While holding the button, press the Share button until it starts blinking. Then add the Bluetooth device, your issue will be resolved.

6] Troubleshoot in Clean Boot

There are a lot of apps and services that can interfere with your controller and cause trouble. To find the exact culprit, we have to perform Clean Boot. You can then keep turning on five services at a time to know what’s causing the issue. After identifying the app, you can delete it and resolve your issue.
