You might be in line for a free replacement if you have an iPhone with a screen that has become unresponsive to touch.
A new display module replacement program for iPhone 11 handsets was launched by Apple. The company states that it is only this iPhone model that is affected, and the handset needs to be produced between November 2019 and May 2020 in order to qualify for a free replacement.
Apple does not provide any details about the problem with the touchscreen, but says it only affects a small percentage” of handsets. Either directly from the company or via an Apple Authorized Service Provider, anyone with a qualified iPhone 11 can get a replacement screen.
Introducing the most recent replacement program, the organization says:
Apple has determined that because of an issue with the display module, a small percentage of iPhone 11 displays may stop responding to touch. Between November 2019 and May 2020, affected appliances were produced.
