Denmark agreed to transfer American fourth-generation F-16 fighter jets to Ukraine, but there is one condition

The first country announced its readiness to transfer the fourth-generation American F-16 Fighting Falcon fighters to the Ukrainian Air Force. It was Denmark.

What is known

Acting Defense Minister Troels Lund Poulsen said Denmark was ready to send F-16 fighter jets to Ukraine on one condition. Denmark will provide aircraft to the Ukrainian Air Force if the deliveries are approved by the United States. But it was understandable.

The Royal Danish Air Force operates 43 F-16 Fighting Falcons, 30 of which are active in the fleet. But now they are being replaced by more modern fifth-generation American fighters F-35 Lightning II.
