Forza Horizon 5 will feature two new cars that will be used to promote the upcoming Barbie movie

What is known

Don Joewon Song, a popular racing YouTuber, reported that both cars have been added to the list of available cars in the game, although they are not yet obtainable. VGC has verified this information and can confirm that both vehicles are present in the Horizon Promo menu, which displays images of each vehicle in the game.

The cars section now has two new items: the 1956 Barbie Movie Corvette EV under the Chevrolet brand and the 2022 Barbie Movie Hummer EV Pickup under the GMC brand. There is no way to get these cars yet, but there will probably be a promo event planned soon, during which players can get cars as a gift to promote the movie or complete special missions to unlock them.

While the promotion may seem a bit unexpected, it makes sense given that Barbie is a product of Mattel, the toy manufacturer that also owns the Hot Wheels brand.
