  3. Install Ctrl-F Plus.
  4. Set the keyboard shortcut to activate the extension.
  5. Press the assigned shortcut key.
  6. Enter the text you want to search.

When the extension is installed, go to the Extensions icon from the top right corner. of the browser window. Then, press the Pin button present next to the Ctrl-F Plus extension.

Once the extension is pinned, right-click on it and choose the Set Keyboard Shortcut option.

Next, enter the hotkey that you want to use to activate the extension. To do that, click on the Edit button and then type the new hotkey that you want to set. The default hotkey for that is CTRL + SHIFT + F.

Now, you can press the assigned hotkey to enable the Ctrl-F Plus extension and then start searching for a specific text on multiple tabs at once.

Type the text you want to search in the Black search bar and press the Enter button. It will show you the number of matching results it fetched on multiple opened tabs.

You can keep pressing the Enter button multiple times to move from one result to another. Or, you can click on the up or down arrow button to jump between search results.

How to search text across all tabs in Microsoft Edge?

To search text across all opened tabs in Edge, you can use the Search all Tabs
add-on. It is a free add-on available on the Edge Add-ons page. Here’s how you can use it:

  1. Launch Edge and open the Edge Add-ons page.
  2. Add the Search all Tabs extension.
  3. Show the extension on the toolbar.
  4. Click on the extension.
  5. Enter your search query.

First, open the Edge browser and then open the Edge Add-ons page.

Next, search for the Search all Tabs extension and add it to your browser by clicking on the Get > Add extension button.

Now, click on the Extensions icon from the toolbar at the top-right section. Click on the Show in toolbar option to show the extension on the toolbar.

After that, click on the Search all Tabs extension from the toolbar to open the search prompt.

Now, enter your query in the respective search box, wait for the extension to search across all tabs, and fetch search results.

You can simply click on a search result to navigate to the page. You can also press the ENTER key to move to the first matched tab.
