The MPUH (Multi-Purpose Unmanned Helicopter) unmanned aerial vehicle was presented at MADEX 2023 in Busan. The helicopter manufacturer is the South Korean company LIG Nex 1.

What is known

According to the manufacturer, the multi-purpose helicopter has a vertical takeoff and landing. It has a length of 3.5 meters and can fly over 50 km. The maximum takeoff weight is 200 kg, and the payload mass is 60 km.

The MPUH is a reconnaissance level drone. It can carry electro-optical / infrared cameras and is equipped with a front camera (not for selfies). The helicopter develops a speed of 140 km/h and is capable of conducting reconnaissance from a height of up to 2.5 km. The maximum flight time is 6 hours.

The MPUH is equipped with a 60 horsepower engine. The power plant was developed by Austro from Australia. The exact engine model is not specified.
