Samsung has acknowledged a problem with the Galaxy S23 and S23+ cameras and promises to fix it with an update

Not so long ago, some owners of the flagship Samsung Galaxy S23 and Galaxy S23 + began to complain about the camera, or rather, about the presence of unforeseen blurs in the photo. Samsung has already responded to these complaints.

What is known

The company appears to be acknowledging this issue. The support team explained why this may occur:

While testing the capabilities of the S23 or S23+ camera, you may have noticed that the area around the subject looks a little blurry when shooting close-ups. This is because the wide-angle rear camera on the S23 and S23+ has a bright aperture, which helps when shooting in the dark. However, this also means that a more prominent selective focus can make the background of your photos look a bit blurry.

In addition, there is a message on the Samsung community forum in Poland that the company is already working on a solution to this problem. This requires a software fix. A firmware update that will fix the defect is already in development. However, Samsung does not specify when exactly it will be released.

But the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra is not affected by this problem thanks to the focus boost function.
