A Hungarian man was able to sell a Tesla Model X electric car a day after he got it from the bottom of the Danube River. As the story goes, the car slid into the river at the ferry pier.

What is known

The electric car slid off the boat ramp. Probably the driver forgot about the brake. The Tesla Model X was completely submerged before the fire brigade arrived on the scene. Therefore, they also had to call in a team of rescue divers to help them.

Despite the fact that the Tesla Model X spent some time at the bottom of the longest river in the European Union, the driver was able to sell the car the next day for $24,000. It’s hard to say why someone wanted to buy a “drowned man”. Probably the new owner thought the savings were worth it.
