In mid-October last year, the Ukrainian company Ukroboronprom announced the development of a domestically produced drone. After more than six months, it was successfully applied.

What is known

This was stated by the representative of the company Natalia Sad. She posted a Facebook photo, which, in addition to her, depicts Air Force Commander Mykola Oleshchuk, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Valeriy Zaluzhny, and Director of Ukroboronprom Yuriy Gusev.

Natalia Sad wrote that the photo was taken “after successfully using the drone for 1,000 km.” More information about the use of an unmanned aerial vehicle, unfortunately, is not yet available.

In general, the Ukroboronprom drone is a classified development. All we know is that it has passed a “series of tests” as of early 2023, has a maximum launch range of 1,000 km, a warhead weighing 75 kg, and a maximum takeoff weight of over 200 kg.
