What technologies will be used in offices in 5-10 years? The Russians tried to answer this question in the study conducted by Kaspersky Lab. It turned out that the majority of respondents expect the appearance of voice assistants and touch screens, as well as robot employees and augmented reality glasses. Some do not even rule out that in the future a person will have to implant chips to work.

According to the study, 29% of respondents believe that voice assistants will be needed for work in the future. Another 27% believe that touch screens will be common in offices. For 12% of respondents, robot employees will be commonplace in the offices of the future. 11% believe that augmented reality glasses will be used for work. 6% of respondents assume that in the future a person will have to implant chips.

However, not all Russians are ready for such radical changes. 32% of respondents believe that laptops will be used in the offices of the future in the old fashioned way, and 21% – that desktop computers with a system unit cannot be dispensed with. And one in ten (11%) is sure that offices will cease to exist altogether, and everyone will work from home.

More than 1,000 people from major Russian cities took part in the survey.
