Airtel has announced a partnership with VOOT that will bring more Premium Shows and films on its Xstream platform, with its content increasingly important in the Indian broadband market. Airtel customers can access premium VOOT content on multiple screens as part of the partnership. In a Tuesday press release, telco argued that the tie-up allowed Airtel Xstream to add over 10,000 films and shows and hundreds of live television channels.
Number of news that the partnership will enable the company to offer better digital entertainment to its subscribers was announced by Bharti Airtel’s content and partner business manager Nupur Chaturvedi. “We are committed to providing our consumers with the latest in the field of digital entertainment and to making the Airtel Xstream app the gateway for India ‘s entertainment needs. We are very excited to work with VOOT and give our users their premium video content.
Following this connection, users can expect to access a host of Original VOOT shows as well as new episodes of Colors’s, MTV India’s and other Viacom-18 networks’ popular TV shows. This includes shows such as Splitsvilla, Naagin, MTV Roadies, Kaisi Yeh Yaaraan, Choti Sarrdaarni, Bepannah, Bahu Begum, and Bigg Boss’s upcoming season.
Those looking for content of English may look forward to events like Stars Feet Up, Work Up with Sophie, BFF with Vogue, Miss Malini’s VH1 Inside Access, Urban Wanderers and Trend Setter, and more. Besides all this in Bangladesh, Gujarati, Kannada, Marathi and Tamil, regional language show is also planned, according to the press release.
