The Ukrainian Defense Forces received Eagle armored vehicles. As it turned out, the supplies were not approved by the Swiss government.

What is known

The relevant information was found in the results of an investigation conducted by the State Secretariat for Economic Affairs. The armored car was transferred to Ukraine by a German company, whose name is not specified.

Eagle photos were posted on social media earlier this year. When exactly the Swiss-made equipment arrived in the country is not specified at the moment.

At the end of the last century, Switzerland sold 36 armored vehicles to Denmark. 10 years ago, an unnamed private German company purchased 27 Eagle units from a Scandinavian country. Switzerland approved the shipments, but banned re-export without its consent.

The State Secretariat for Economic Affairs during the investigation found that 11 armored vehicles were sent to Ukraine. At the same time, Switzerland has no claims against the German government.
