Apple tags work: American found stolen Christmas decorations using AirTag

Recently we wrote about that cybercriminals began to use AirTags to steal expensive cars… Today’s story is more positive, with trackers helping a Texas woman find stolen Christmas decorations.

How it was

American decided to buy AirTag after co in the courtyard of the neighbors’ house, unknown persons stole the scenery for Christmas and New year. AND this idea turned out to be successful, because after a while the woman was comprehended by that same fate.

CCTV cameras filmed how unidentified persons at night kidnapped large inflatable figures that were yard of the house. But they are not knew that the owner had attached to AirTag decorations.

By according to the woman, the tags led her To a residential complex where, among the many Christmas decorations, she found hers. TO unfortunately the police not could do nothing, since the thieves did not was at home.

TO fortunately, the end is happy in this story: the kidnappers voluntarily returned her inflatable decorations. AND all due to the hype that went up in in social networks. The thing is what the woman said about what happened in TikTok, her videos have gained millions of views. Apparently, the attackers were afraid of such «glory» and all returned.
