1. Press Start, search regedit, and hit Enter.
2. Once the Registry Editor opens, navigate to the following path:

   HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings

3. Double-click on the AutoDetect in the right pane and set the Value Data as 0. If there’s no such key, create a new DWORD (32-Bit) Value and name it AutoDetect.
4. This will turn off automatic proxy detection.
