We will look at the following fixes to get rid of this error.:

  1. Restore your boot configuration data.
  2. Use Automatic Startup Repair
  3. Use the system restore function.
  4. Reset Windows 10.

Since your computer won’t boot, you’ll either have to try to go to the Advanced Startup Options screen, boot Windows 10 in Safe Mode, or use Windows 10 bootable media to boot your computer.

1]Recover Boot Configuration Data

If you have access to advanced startup options, open a command prompt and use it to repair the BCD.

If you cannot do this, you will need to make a bootable USB drive with Windows 10 and then boot your computer from it. Then when you get the welcome screen, press Nextand then press Repair your computer at the bottom left of the window.

Then click on Troubleshoot. Then select Advanced Options. And then, Command Prompt.

Now that you have a Command Prompt window open, enter the following commands one by one in sequence:

bootrec /FixMbr
bootrec /FixBoot
bootrec /ScanOS
bootrec /RebuildBcd

Finally, close the Command Prompt window, restart your computer and see if that helps.

2]Use Automatic Startup Repair

Enter the Advanced Startup Options screen and then use Startup Repair.

3]Use System Restore

On the Advanced Startup Options screen, you will also see a System Restore option. You can try this too.

4]Reset Windows 10

If all else fails, you may need to restart your computer. Use installation media to restore, reset, or reinstall Windows.

5]Check the hardware physically

Try to physically disconnect any external device connected to your computer and check if that solves the problem. You can also check if your hard drive is working properly because it can cause the problem mentioned above. If you are unable to do this, your best bet is to have your PC support technician check the hardware.
