Cool, but not original: a colorful gameplay trailer for the action-RPG Lords of the Fallen is presented. Dark Souls will have a serious competitor

Polish studio CI Games has released the official gameplay trailer for the dark fantasy action RPG Lords of the Fallen.

What is known

The game looks promising and promising: the cinematic scenes are of high quality, the characters and scenery look expressive and technologically advanced, the battles are dynamic, brutal and, apparently, complex, and the graphics are at a high level.

It can be seen that Lords of the Fallen is a high-quality game, if not for one “but”: it is extremely similar to FromSoftware studio projects, in particular, Dark Souls and Elden Ring. Is it bad? – with this quality of performance – no, fans of the souls-like genre will surely enjoy the Polish game. But the joke that Lords of the Fallen is Dark Souls 4.5 is no longer a joke.

When to expect

The release date of the game has also been confirmed. Lords of the Fallen will release on October 13, 2023 for PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series.
