1] Connect and Disconnect Headset

2] Check if the Microphone is enabled

Next up, we need to check if the Microphone is enabled. To do the same, open Settings, and go to Privacy & Security (Windows 11) or Privacy (Windows 10), then to Microphone, and enable it. 3] Make sure Corsair is the default

Usually, when you insert a headset or microphone, Windows tend to make the microphone default. To do the same, we need to configure your sound settings. To do the same, follow the prescribed steps.

  4. Right-click on Corsair Microphone and select Set as Default Default.
  5. Click Apply > Ok.

Windows 11

  • Open Settings from the Start Menu.
  • Click System > Troubleshoot > Other troubleshooters.
  • Look for the Recording Audio troubleshooter, and click on the Run button.

Windows 10

  • Open Settings.
  • Go to Update & Security > Additional troubleshooter.
  • Click Recording Audio > Run the troubleshooter.

Follow the on-screen instructions to scan and fix the problem. Hopefully, this will do the job for you.

5] Reinstall the audio driver

  1. Open Device Manager.
  2. Expand Sound, video and game controllers.
  3. Right-click on the Corsair audio driver and select Uninstall device.
  4. Unplug the headset and restart your computer.

6] Check your Hardware
