Despite the fact that there is just over a week left before the official release of The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, thanks to information leaked to the Web, enthusiasts were able to launch the game on the Nintendo Switch emulator.

According to those who have tried running the game on PC, Ryujinx is currently the only emulator that can run The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. However, since the game is currently in the public domain, you can expect other emulators such as Yuzu to add support for the game soon.

Nintendo has not yet responded to this leak, and given that the data is already available, it is unlikely that they will be able to stop the flow. Although it is illegal to distribute a ROM file, people familiar with piracy will continue to distribute it.

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is a Nintendo Switch exclusive, releasing on May 12th. The game will be the first title from Nintendo itself to cost $70.
