Google Bard received support for the Russian language and significantly expanded its functionality
Can ChatGPT and Bing stand up to a tech giant with its own language model?
Google introduced a massive update for your AI chatbot bardworking on its own LLM-model company called LaMDA.
Dobro Corporation has significantly expanded the coverage area of its product, which now includes more than 230 countries (Russia is not included in their list, but it is possible to bypass the restriction with VPN), and the chatbot itself now supports about 50 languages, including Russian.
As for the new functions, not all of which work in the Russian-language interface, let’s go through in order. Bard now lets you customize the tone and style of responses. For example, answers can be made more conversational or more professional, as well as the flexibility to adjust their length.
Also updated Bard now allows you to read the answers aloud thanks to the text-to-speech function. You can also dictate questions into the microphone of your device.
In addition, a list of previous chats appeared on the left side of the user interface, which contains both recent conversations and manually pinned by the user.
Information given by Bard can now be shared with your surroundings. It is enough to use the corresponding icon at the bottom of the answer. And developers will appreciate the ability to export code to the platform Reply.
Finally, Google Lens has been integrated into Bard, allowing users to upload images directly to the chat (the plus button to the left of the input field) and ask questions about them. Lens is responsible for object recognition, while Bard generates text content based on images.
You can test the neural network from Google on official website of the project however, it is worth remembering that not every VPN service, especially public ones, will allow you to get full access to Bard.
