At the end of May, Germany attached TRML-4D radars to Ukraine. Now there is information that the Armed Forces of Ukraine will receive an additional batch.
What is known
This was told by the manufacturing company Hensoldt. We are talking about 4 radars for the IRIS-T SLM medium-range anti-aircraft missile system, which is in service with the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The radar station operates in the C-band and is equipped with an electronically scanned active phased array antenna, which is based on GaN (gallium nitride) solid-state transmitters. TRML-4D can track UAVs, aircraft, helicopters and various types of missiles, including ballistic missiles. The radar is capable of tracking up to 1500 targets simultaneously at ranges up to 250 km.

When to expect
According to Hensoldt, they plan to implement the contract in 2024. The first deliveries will start in January.
