NASA urgently delayed the launch of the Crew Dragon with astronauts to the ISS 150 seconds before launch, and SpaceX can set a historic achievement

The Crew Dragon Endeavor spacecraft did not depart for the International Space Station (ISS), despite plans. The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) has delayed the launch.

What is known

The SpaceX spacecraft was sent to the launch pad last week. The launch of the Crew-6 mission was scheduled for 08:45 (EET). Crew Dragon was supposed to deliver a group of astronauts to the ISS. NASA announced a problem with the ground support system and stopped the mission 150 seconds before launch.

The Falcon 9 launch vehicle is used to send the ship into space. It uses TEA-TEB fluid, which is responsible for ignition. Specialists noticed a problem with the liquid, but could not fix it in time.

As part of the sixth mission of the Commercial Crew program, astronauts Woody Hoburg and Stephen Bowen from the United States, Sultan Al Neyadi from the United Arab Emirates and Andrey Fedyaev from Russia are to go to the ISS. The second launch attempt is scheduled for tomorrow, February 28. The mission starts at 08:00 (EET). If this happens, then SpaceX can make three launches within 12 hours. The record for such a number of starts is 34 hours.
