This month, an unknown American missile was to be tested at Cape Canaveral. However, they were canceled by the US Department of Defense.
What is known
It is assumed that the launches were scheduled for March 2-6, 2023. This is indicated by the fact that the US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) announced the closure of airspace.
Dr. Marco Langbroek, a lecturer at the Delft University of Technology in the Netherlands, noted that the navigational warning was drawing a “forked” flight path over the North Atlantic. This indicates that this is not a typical orbital launch. Most likely, this is a test of a hypersonic missile.
Yesterday at 12pm EST was the opening of the window for what could be a missile test out of Cape Canaveral. This hazard notice was sent a few days ago and the timing and locations of the hazard zones do not match any known orbital launches. Window closes on the 6th at 4:38pm EST. pic.twitter.com/HJEAcXKRN1

In any case, the tests did not take place. The US Department of Defense said the launch was canceled after pre-flight inspections. The Pentagon also noted that the supply of hypersonic weapons is a top priority for the defense department.
