Following the launch of Poco M2 Pro, Xiaomi spin-off Poco is all set to launch the device’s vanilla version called the Poco M2 in India. The launch is reported via Flipkart.com to be held on September 8 at 12 pm. This will be an online-only gathering, which will be broadcast live on the social media platforms of the organisation.
Poco India had taken to Twitter to announce the country’s launch of Poco M2. The tweet reads, “It’s time to change all your WTF moments into # PowerFTW moments. Get ready, the # POCOM2 arrives on Flipkart at 12 noon on September 08th.”

Poco M2 will be an affordable variant of the Poco M2 Pro, launched at a starting price of Rs 13,999 in July. It will potentially get some of the same characteristics as its sibling.
The Poco M2 Pro delivers a 6.67-inch full HD+ display with 1080 x2400 pixel resolution. It draws power from an octa-core 720 G Snapdragon processor, which is coupled with up to 6 GB of RAM and up to 128 GB of internal storage of UFS 2.1.
For optics, it has a rear quad camera system with a main 48-megapixel sensor, an ultra-wide-angle 8-megapixel lens, a 5-megapixel macro-lens, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. It has a selfie camera with 16 megapixels at the top.
