
Poland continues to arm itself, announcing a new contract for the purchase of AGM-114R2 Hellfire missiles.

This was announced by Polish Defense Minister Mariusz Blaszczak (Mariusz Błaszczak). We are talking about 800 missiles. Their sale has already been approved by the US State Department. In addition to missiles, the contract also includes technical and logistical support, as well as spare parts. The approximate cost of the order is $ 150,000,000. There is no information yet when the deliveries of missiles will begin.

The AGM-114R2 Hellfire is one of the latest Hellfire air-to-ground anti-tank missiles. It has laser guidance and a multipurpose warhead. The rocket weighs 46 kg. It is capable of hitting targets at a distance of up to 8 km.
