For those who are not in the know

Warmate is a loitering ammunition of the Polish company WM Group. It was created in 2012, but the popularity of the drone came only in 2020 after the drones demonstrated their effectiveness in the war in Karabakh. Warmate has a wingspan of 1.6 m and weighs 5.7 kg. Loitering ammunition is launched from a small pneumatic catapult. The kamikaze drone has an electric motor and is invisible to the enemy. The flight altitude is 150-300 m, and the target engagement range is 10 km. The maximum flight speed of the loitering ammunition in the attack can reach 150 km/h, and the cruising speed – 80 km/h. The warhead of the drone weighs about 1.5 kg. By the way, the Armed Forces of Ukraine have been using Warmate since the beginning of the full-scale Russian invasion.
