  3. Double-click on the Do not automatically hyperlink screenshots.
  4. Select the Enabled option.
  5. Click the OK button.

To get started, you need to open the Local Group Policy Editor on your computer. For that, search for gpedit in the Taskbar search box, and click on the individual search result. Then, navigate to this path:

User Configuration > Administrative Templates > Microsoft Office 2016 > Miscellaneous

Here you can find a setting named Do not automatically hyperlink screenshots. You need to double-click on this setting and choose the Enabled option.

  4. Right-click on Microsoft > New > Keyand set the name as office.
  5. Right-click on office > New > Key and name it as 0.
  6. Create a sub-key named gfx.
  7. Right-click on gfx > New > DWORD (32-bit) Value.
  8. Name it as disablescreenshotautohyperlink.
  9. Double-click on it to set the Value data as 1.
  10. Click the OK button.
  11. Restart your PC.
