Secret Documents on Sputnik V Vaccine Development Leaked Online

The documents contain information about the deceased subjects and the cost of research.

The hacker group KelvinSecurity said it had released secret documents containing information about the development of the Sputnik V vaccine, some of which contain the names of deceased participants in clinical trials.

Attackers published 522 MB of data on a popular hacker forum. Hundreds of documents contain the names of deceased participants in clinical trials of the vaccine, including information about the causes of their death. KelvinSecurity noted that fatal clinical trials have occurred in Ghana and Egypt.

The published data is divided into more than 300 files. In fact, each email contained 1-2 GB of data, according to KelvinSecurity.

“Our mission was to see and demonstrate that the vaccine is ineffective, and this was just Russian government propaganda,” the KelvinSecurity hackers said.

Cybercriminals said that they obtained the data as a result of hacking the mailboxes of the company that developed the vaccine – the Research Institute of Epidemiology and Microbiology named after. Gamalei, Moscow.

According to the hackers, some documents were classified and contained information about the stages of vaccine development, funding and technical details. One of the cases listed in the documents describes a test subject who miscarried one month after being vaccinated in February 2022. However, the document does not say whether vaccination and termination of pregnancy are related.

The documents also contain:

  • invoices and information about the cost of testing. For example, one of the studies is estimated at 7 million rubles;
  • information about the laboratories developing the vaccine and their level of productivity;
  • correspondence with external customers. For example, one Swiss company submitted a request to supply the Sputnik V vaccine to Switzerland. It is worth noting that most of Europe, including Switzerland, has not recognized the effectiveness of the Russian vaccine.

The vaccine “Sputnik V” (Gam-COVID-Vak) was registered on August 11, 2020 by the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation. In addition to Sputnik V, a one-component vaccine called Sputnik Light was put into circulation, which is the first component of Sputnik V.
